Along with his degree in mechanical engineering, EVO SUSPENSION owner Loïc Léonard brings to the table a wealth of on-the-pegs knowledge garnered as a top level rider, both in Canada and the United States. Here at the world renowned Snowshoe GNCC.

For over 15 years, EVO SUSPENSION riders have won countless races and numerous championships in both motocross and off-road racing, mostly in Quebec but also in the US, both at the Pro and Amateur levels. EVO SUSPENSION is also a favourite stop for recreational dirt bike riders who care about getting the most enjoyment as well as performance from their motorcycle.

EVO SUSPENSION slowly came into being some 20 years ago when Lucien Caggiano, a motorcycle mechanic originally from France with many years of top-level factory experience at Husqvarna and Yamaha, decided to add suspension tuning to his Montreal-area race shop, originally specialising in high performance motor work. In 2017, Caggiano returned to France in order to head the suspension department at Bud Racing, one of the very top European performance and race shops.

Since 2017, EVO SUSPENSION is owned by Loïc Léonard. Originally a sponsored racer and official test pilot for EVO SUSPENSION (as far back as 2009, when he won an AMA #1 Plate in the US National Super Mini class), Loïc Léonard went on to win six straight Pro class overall championships in Quebec’s highly competitive FMSQ Cross-Country series. He has also earned many class wins and numerous Top 20 Overall results while participating in Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) events in the States. Among his accomplishments, he qualified for the 15 rider International Final and finished 13th overall at the Tennessee Knock Out (TKO), North America’s premier hard enduro.

Just before purchasing EVO SUSPENSION, Loïc Léonard obtained his mechanical engineering degree from the Université du Québec’s École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montréal. He is thus able to combine leading-edge theoretical and technical expertise to his vast experience as a top-level rider and his hands-on knowledge of the riding terrain of eastern North America. He personally supervises all the suspension work done at his Mirabel shop.
